Reporting to the Head Cashier, cashiers are primarily responsible for processing sales and returns and providing a positive final impression to customers as they complete their shopping. This is currently a seasonal position, but there is the potential for longer term employment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Process sales and returns on a point-of-sale register
  • Schedule deliveries
  • Provide information as needed to customers regarding prices, loyalty program, check policy, and more
  • Other related duties as assigned

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills with customers and employees
  • Able to work independently and also be a team player
  • Flexibility in all areas, including but not limited to: work schedule, duties and responsibilities, extreme weather conditions, etc.
  • Able to count money and make change, having a good knowledge of basic mathematics
  • Able to type alphanumeric characters accurately
  • Must be organized

Education & Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No criminal record; must pass a screening related to money-handling

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift, pull, push 50+ pounds
  • Able to stand for an extended period of time
  • Able to work in all types of weather

Reporting to the Greenhouse Department Head, the Hydration Specialist is responsible for watering the Greenhouse Department and surrounding areas, including the front entrance, displays, and main retail areas.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Consistently checks watering needs of all annuals and greenhouse plants
  • Assist with greenhouse duties when watering job is complete and/or during inclement weather
  • Ensure the safety of employees and staff by properly managing watering hoses and supplies
  • Other duties as assigned

Reporting to the General Manager, the Perennials Department Head is responsible for ensuring the Perennials Department reaches sales goals, maintains adequate staffing, and practices exemplary customer service. The Perennial Department Head will supervise day to day activity in a rapidly growing sales department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversees the day-to-day flow of the perennial department
  • Organizes and oversees scheduling within the department
  • Motivates employees through positive communication and incentives
  • Maintains positive relationships with employees and customer base while setting the example of customer service
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Excellent leadership and management skills

Reporting to the Perennials Department Head, the Perennials Team Lead is responsible for helping the department head manage a rapidly growing sales department. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day flow of the perennial department when the department head is unavailable
  • Maintain positive relationships with employees and customer base while setting the example of customer service
  • Stock and organize inventory, and assist with checking in new products
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Reporting to the Hard Goods Department Head, the Plan Care Specialist will assist customers with plant care knowledge, product details, and ensure a positive customer service experience.

A sales associate will assist customers as they shop and ensure a positive customer service experience. They will also help unload and organize inventory and complete other duties as assigned.

We are currently hiring sales associates for the following departments: Greenhouse, Perennials, Trees & Shrubs, Hard Goods, Sales associates report to the head of their assigned department.

This is currently a seasonal position, but there is the potential for longer term employment.

Sales associate in The Market will assist customers as they shop within this department and ensure a positive customer service experience. They will also use a point-of-sale cash register to complete transactions for customers and complete other duties as assigned.

This is currently a seasonal position, but there is the potential for longer term employment.
